Welcome to week 5 of our series exploring sustainable design in interiors. This week we are going to deep dive in to sustainable products, so grab a cuppa, get comfy on your sofa and lets dive in!

This week we are focusing on products that have longevity, simplicity and functionality at the heart of their design. Where thecycles of a product life and keeping it out of landfill are forefront in the design, production and end of life disposal.

Materials

Foresso create gorgeous terrazzo slabs by utilising waste offcuts of wood from nearby businesses - none of it has travelled more than 43 miles to the factory!

 The Yuri collection of eco friendly tiles made from 90% recycled raw materials, water and minerals with no compromise on quality or finish. The collection is highly variegated to give each tile their own unique appearance.

Parkside have a Squel range made almost entirely from recycled content including old tv screens!

 Fabrics

Lelièvre Paris have a range of fabrics made exclusively from natural materials to reduce the environmental impact of its projects

Yodomo are a social venture by Sophie Rochester surplus materials are transformed into new products. Textile waste contributes 20% of water pollution and 10% greenhouse gases globally.
